This handbook will provide the student or keen amateur with a clear and reliable means of identifying those plants which grow wild in Ireland.  The book contains details of the plants of Ireland and has many black and white illustrations.  The illustrations for this 1967 edition were done by Hilda Parkes and Pearl Boatman.

David Allardice Webb (12 August 1912 – 26 September 1994) was an Irish botanist and chair of botany at Trinity College, Dublin  from 1949 to 1966. He was seen as the foremost Irish botanist of the time.

Out hardback edition was published in 1967 by W Tempest of Dundalgan Press, Dundalk. Our copy is in excellent condition and has a dust jacket.
