Butler’s Lives of the Saints is the most revered Catholic book after the Bible, the Missal and The Imitation of Christ. A Saint or two for each day of the calendar. These books are great for a daily meditation. Each Saint’s life is followed by a “lesson” from the life to help us apply the virtues of the Saint to ourselves.
The books were originally written by Fr. Alban Butler between 1756 & 1759.
We have four volumes of these scare books. Our set were originally published in 1926. The books in excellent condition and are in hardback with gold colured printing to the front and to the sides.
