Going Global for God – A Portrait of Ballyheigue’s Missionary Movement
This scholarly work was Ballyheigue History and Heritage Group in 2016. The book is dedicated to “To the memory of our missionaries and to our community, it’s families and supporting their vocations.
The book tells of the people, both men and women, of Ballyheigue Parish who joined Religious Orders. It tells their stories and details their life as Religious in both Ireland and as Missionaries abroad.
There is a beautiful CD to accompany the book featuring new recordings from artists, singers and songwriters from and living in Ballyheigue.
