Killarney sketches is love’s labors found, one hundred and fifty years on, from the pen of John Robert Fitzgerald Day of Beaufort, Killarney.
His idyll was the scene of the great house, and the noble occupant. This is a reproduction, that was published in 2011.
This edition was put together by J A Murphy It is complete with Ms Murphy’s notes and annotations.
The book also features copies of emails between Ms Murphy and Eileen Chamberlain.
These emails make for interesting reading and form a good backdrop to the book.
