This edition was published in May 1873, priced 6s, in the year of Le Fanu’s death, as one of Routledge’s Octavo Novels.
This is not , of course, the publishers’ stereotyped edition published nearly 30 years later, and is now very scarce. It was advertised in The Athenaeum on 17th May 1873.
Our copy is in reasonable condition in view of its age.
