This rare version of the Holy Bible was printed in Dublin by James Duffy in 1847. The bible was translated from the Latin and diligently compared to the writings in Hebrew and Greek. This version has the imprimatur of Archbishop Murray of Dublin.
There are many fine black and white illustrations contained in the book.
This book was owned by various members of the O’Shaughnessy Family of Cork, London and Dublin. There are various newspaper notices pertaining to the family inside the cover.
