The Kerry Magazine is an annual publication of the Kerry Archaeological and Historical Society. It was first published in 1989, when it was primarily intended as a newsletter to keep members abreast of activities within the Society.
This has grown over the years into a much-respected stand-alone publication. the magazine provides a platform for both academics and non-academics to publish short articles,. Those articles not only are of and archaeology/history but also to the wider culture and heritage of Kerry.
We have a number of The Kerry Magazine for sale.
They range from issue 7 in 1996 to issue 31 in 2021.
Issue 7 is a much more basic magazine compared to the later editions.
For example in the early editions the photographs were in black & white and there is much more use of colour photography in later editions.
These magazines add greatly to the historical record of Kerry and its people.
