The Sunny South of Ireland – Killarney District was published by the Great Southern & Western Railway in 1913. This was one of the first guide books featuring Killarney and district.
The guide has a number of tours that were available for passengers of the railway at that time. All the amenities in Killarney are featured. The photos of the beauty spots shown the attractions off at their best. On page 51 there is a photo of the railway line that ran near Kells, Co Kerry. It shows the views from the proposed Greenway, f it ever gets the go ahead.
