The Way of Birds by R B Talbot Kelly

This comprehensive book was first published in 1937. The book contains 72 illustrations in both Colour and Black & White.

The author amalgamated his thoughts into four distinct chapters;

• Feathers
• Wings
• The Way of Birds
• Index to Birds

Following a 2015 World Land Trust Gallery exhibition, his work received the following commendation. ” Familiarity with his subject, which included both insight and understanding, was the key to Talbot Kelly’s work. His ability to exclude what he knew to be the facts and concentrate on what he had seen, puts his work in the highest category of Bird painting ”
