This book was published in 1950. The author completed a walking tour of Ireland the year before and this is an account of his journey.
It is a very witty account of his travels and the many characters that he met on it. There is a chapter on his visit to Kerry. The highlight of the Kerry trip was his visit to Puck Fair. I think it is fair to say that he wasn’t too impressed with the goings on at the Fair. There are many period photos in the book.
Our first edition is in excellent condition but the book doesn’t have a dust jacket.
