Victor’s Place is a novel set in Belfast, era 1969. Not far into the novel, one realizes the hardships Victor O’Rawe is faced with. Hard up for work, he gets a job in a garment factory, where he meets up with the dark, proud Attracta, whose brother he knew from his childhood, but whom she tends to ignore.
When political upheaval sets in, Victor is faced with trials and tribulations, from which he departs a broken man.
However, a transformation carries him to places unknown, and then some.
